Boey was invited to ArtEZ University of the Arts to lead a workshop on Sensory Design for MA Interior Architecture students. The group explored how subjective sensory experiences can be translated into universal, shared, and inclusive functions.
Boey shared his full process—from user testing and research to market studies and form development—offering students a hands-on look into how sensory design takes shape. The students themselves tested the products to experience the design philosophy in action.

Dutch Design Week is coming!
This year, Studio Boey is launching an exciting new product at Strijp-S, right next to Klokgebouw. After a full year of development, we’re thrilled to announce that the pre-sale will also begin during the event!
At the same time, Boey is curating an exhibition featuring outcomes from his Inclusive Design Workshop in China. Drawing from his own journey and cultural roots, Boey encouraged students to combine hands-on experimentation with grassroots user research. He will bring a group of these students to Klokgebouw—come by and say hello!
